IT Security Engineer – EndPoint Specialist

As part of our continual growth, we are looking to add to our professional services division by hiring a Professional Services Engineer – EndPoint Technology.

Count me in, what’s the role?

Reporting to the Managing Director, the PS Engineer is responsible for the architecting, implementing and the delivery of solutions that have been identified as key vendor technologies for them. This will include specializing in these technologies and working within Secure Sense defined methodologies on delivering and implementing them within customer organizations. Our PS team is a collaborative environment and is looking for an individual who can join our extremely talented team of individuals and integrate seamlessly. Do you have what it takes?

What would I do, exactly?

  • Take a leading role in designing, developing and implementing new endpoint offerings, as well as updating existing MSSP offerings
  • Be the subject matter expert for these solutions
  • Provide escalated support to all SOC personnel to ensure all MSSP deliverables are met within SLAs for all managed endpoint solutions.
  • Develop and maintain as-built documentation for our customers
  • Manage relationships with our customers’ in-house operations teams and frequently interact with client management
  • Assist sales team on four-legged sales calls
  • Ensure deliverables are met in a timely and professional manner

The perfect candidate would have:

  • Bachelors or college degree of computer science, computer engineering or other relevant degrees
  • Relevant industry certifications
  • Relevant technology vendor certifications in one or more (Cylance, Carbon Black, Symantec, Varonis or SCCM.)
  • Strong knowledge and experience with industry standard frameworks (ISO, NIST, PCI)
  • Familiarity with ITIL or related methodologies
  • 2+ years of Information Security/Cybersecurity experience
  • 2+ years in a leadership role
  • 2+ years’ experience working in Security professional services
  • Experience in the fulfillment and delivery of proposed solutions
  • Personnel and resource management experience
  • Strong knowledge of project management and risk analysis strategy
  • Strong knowledge of change management and implementation best practices
  • Professional communication, including executive level and documentation of processes & procedures
